Sacred Idol
The Miami Herald reports that the Fox's uber-popular & secular American Idol will have a sacred counterpart on the Trinity Broadcasting Network; it will be titled Gifted.
[It would have seemed a bit odd to use the term "idol" in their title, yeah?]
TBN is showing their marketing savvy here. Now that Christian Rock can be found at numerous spots on the radio dial, the next step would be to tap into the appeal of the secular world's 37 million-viewer talent show.
Know your audience. Know their interests. Know their core values.
You could say that their plan is evloving. Er...
